Board & Train Program

We had the pleasure of being involved with Summit’s Board and Train program. 

I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Sending our dog to board was like sending him to a wonderful camp! He got to learn all day, had loads of great play and exercise time, made new friends, and was always well cared for. 

Our dog’s trainer consistently checked in with us to let us know how he was doing and what tasks he was working on. We would receive photos, videos, and texts celebrating his progress, as well as detailed reports. We always felt extremely well connected with the process. 

Our situation was extremely complex, and we greatly appreciated the trainer and owners’ abilities to pivot and be flexible to our ever changing and very specific needs. 

We were also very impressed with the creativity, dedication, time, and energy that went into practicing and perfecting tasks. The groundwork was so strong that when it came time for us  to practice application of tasks, there was little confusion and success was easily achieved. Summit Service Dogs is really committed to nurturing an effective service dog team, and they have the knowledge, experience, and love for and understanding of dogs to make that happen.
